1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By downloading, installing, or using the Misfits mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. Misfits is an independent platform dedicated to the neurodivergent community.

2. ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION
Purpose: Misfits is designed as a mentorship platform for neurodivergent individuals to connect and share experiences.

Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Verification: While we provide tools for connection, Misfits does not perform comprehensive background checks on all users. Use caution when interacting and sharing personal information.

3. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES & CONDUCT
To maintain a safe and supportive space for neurodivergent minds, all users agree NOT to:

Engage in harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior.

Share sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise harmful content.

Impersonate any person or entity, including Misfits staff or other users.

Violation of these guidelines will result in immediate account termination without notice.

4. NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE (IMPORTANT)
Misfits is a peer-to-peer mentorship platform, not a clinical service.

Peer Support: Mentors provide guidance based on personal lived experience. They are not licensed medical professionals, therapists, or clinical counselors.

No Liability: Misfits is not liable for any advice given or received through the App. Always consult with a qualified professional for medical, legal, or mental health concerns.

5. USER CONTENT & PRIVACY
Ownership: You retain ownership of the content you post, but you grant Misfits a license to host and display that content within the App for the purpose of the service.

Data Usage: Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy, utilizing Firebase for secure storage and authentication.

6. ACCOUNT DELETION
In compliance with Apple’s policies, users may delete their accounts and all associated data at any time through the App settings.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Misfits shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App or interactions with other users.
